Good things come in short packages
Coming from someone that is vertically challenged, I do believe the statement that good things are small. Jelly tots, buttons, diamonds, peas… You know what I mean. Small things are good. Well I have such a good relationship with short things, that I decided to check out ‘The Short Film Show Suitcase”. A new night that has hit London, showing you all the best short movies from around the world.
Now just to make it better, their first venue was in fact The City Arts and Music Project in Old Street. Oh yes. Gritty room. Great cider. Even greater burgers and chips. I mean the chips were spectacular. Then the room was tranformed. Chairs and a screen were revealed and as I nuzzled into the brown leather sofa, a dude came and gave us brown paper bags filled with popcorn. I mean who could say no.
The movies were brilliant, sad, funny, talented. I mean they were short but they were great and I was really sad when it ended. Great venue. Great new night. Follow the suitcase wherever it may go because it is short, but is filled with good things…
I helped George Smith out with the event, he was the mastermind it all and worked real hard. i think it was a great start to hopefully a regular event, the movies and animations where entertaining and the atmosphere was perfect. popcorn and jelly bellys all round was icing on the cake. I cant wait for the next short film showcase suitcase event which will hopefully be july sometime
